Hey everyone + Happy New Year!! Now is the perfect time to set new goals, try new things, and make our dreams happen!! Out with the old and in with the new….that is, unless we’re talking about classic, Old Hollywood glam. That will always be in!! 😉

For my first post of 2016, I thought it’d be fun to bring on some vintage vibes with this makeup look. If you’d like to learn how to recreate this look, keep on reading!

>> For the Eyes<<

Apply a matte, cream-colored shadow all over your lids and up to your brow bones.

With a flat brush, trace along your crease with a warm, chocolate brown eyeshadow. Blend out the harsh line with a fluffy blending brush, sweeping that color upwards. This is going to add a lot of definition to your crease and really open up your eyes, making them appear larger and doll-like.

Swipe that same chocolate brown shade underneath your lower lash line.

Apply a thick line of liquid eyeliner onto your top lids, creating a cat-eye on the ends. I used the Smashbox liquid liner pen in black because it’s SO long-lasting!

Next, line your lower water line with a pure white eyeliner pencil. (I’m using NYX cosmetics)

To finish off, add some falsies and/or mascara!

I’m wearing Aveda’s nourish-mint lipstick in the shade “hot pepper” which is a warm + spicy brown AND one of my favs!! ❤

I hope you enjoyed this makeup look + little how-to description! I have always been obsessed with vintage EVERYTHING so I had way too much fun creating this look!! 🙂

Thanks so much for reading! Wishing you nothing but the very best for this brand new year! Let’s make it the best one, yet!!
