Hi everyone!! So we’re halfway through the week, and Valentine’s day is coming up in just a few days! If you’re still unsure of what to wear, I have JUST THE THING. It’s cute, it’s sparkly, and it’s such a fun way to add a little holiday flare to an otherwise, plain outfit! Plus, it just might be the easiest DIY in the world.

Here’s everything you need to be valentine-ready:)

  • Two iron-on heart appliques! You can find these at pretty much any fabric/craft store.
  • A long sleeved shirt
  • Measuring tape/ruler
  • Safety pins
  • And an iron!

Okay so first off, you’re going to want to measure the length of your forearms and mark it on each sleeve. I wanted my appliques to look like elbow patches, so that’s where I placed mine!

Once you have everything where it needs to be, safety pin it in place and put your shirt inside-out.

With your iron on “cotton” setting, iron over your appliques for about 10-15 seconds each! Make sure you let it cool down before reversing your shirt back to normal–it gets super hot!!

After that, just make sure the applique is completely bonded to your shirt around each corner and you’re good to go!!
