Winter Wreath

Hey everyone! We’re already getting towards the end of December, and I FINALLY got around to making a wintery-themed wreath! With just a few days left before Christmas, the craft stores were having some killer deals…we’re talking, 70%! Could not pass that up;) Michael’s craft store had tons of little embellishments and knick-knacks that I just hot glued onto the wreath.

BUT since 2014 is almost over, I also wanted to incorporate my favorite part of the year into this decoration; my wedding! I took some of our wedding décor  (like the love birds) and deconstructed it to add memorable bits to my wreath:)

I think it’s so much fun to find a new use for items that have such special meaning! My husband and I will definitely be keeping this wreath around for years, and it’ll always make us think of our special day. If you want to make your own, you could totally incorporate different things into your “memor-wreath” and represent your favorite memory from the year! It could be pictures or tickets from a fun vacation or event, or even little newborn accessories from the year you welcomed a new baby to your family! Whatever you accomplished this year, it’s worth celebrating:)

I hope you are all staying nice and warm this holiday season! It’s the best weather for staying in, and making a fun DIY craft;)

Thanks for reading! ❤

XOXO, Bekah
