Lip Tips!

When it comes to lipstick, I believe it’s go bold, or go home;)

Here’s a few super simple and easy lipstick tricks that I use to complete any makeup application!

Hope you enjoy:D

What I used:

For this look, I used a new-ish, Aveda lipstick in the shade Goji Berry! It’s a really vibrant, orangey-red color. I just love it!Unfortunately, this color is only a limited-edition/seasonal product . On the plus side, that totally gives you an excuse to go shopping and stock up;)

The lip liner I used today is also by Aveda, and it’s called Red Petals. I really love the way that Aveda’s lip products glide on so smoothly, but any lip liner will work just fine:)

Okay, now it’s tip time:D

  1. To get a really defined shape for your lip, draw an X on your cupids bow with your lip liner.
  2. After lining your lips, completely fill them in with your lip liner, just as you would with your lipstick. This will help to make your lipstick last so much longer!
  3. If you want to create a matte look, simply pat a translucent powder on your lips, and rub in. It’ll get rid of any shine, and makes for a classic look!
  4. If you prefer more of a shine to your lip products, dab a little bit of a clear gloss JUST in the center of your lips. It’ll give your lips a pout look, and they’ll also appear fuller! I used a nude NYX lip plumper for this step. Aaaaaand I would’ve taken a picture of the gloss, but sadly the label was all rubbed off:( lol waaa.

Well that’s it, guys:) Super easy right?!

I really hope you liked this little post, and found these tips helpful!

Thanks SO much for reading, I can’t wait for you to try these out:)!

XOXO, Bekah
